Interior Views

Welcome to the Blackfly Bonefish Lodge in Schooner Bay, Abaco Bahamas and our gallery of photos of the interior of the lodge. The new Blackfly Lodge certainly rivals any fishing lodge in the Bahamas and some would consider it to be luxury fishing accommodations. The interior design concept is a vision of the Blackfly team of Clint Kemp, Dave Byler and artist Vaughn Cochran and award winning designer Amanda Lindroth. The completed design is complimented by the artwork of artist and partner Vaughn Cochran which can be seen throughout the lodge interior. As the lodge neared completion, the Blackfly team decided to name the 8 rooms at the lodge after fly fishing personalities rather than giving the rooms numbers. Vaughn then embarked on a 6 month long period of portrait painting to capture the feeling of the celebrity anglers. All of the artwork at the lodge is representative of Vaughn's many years as a fly fishing guide in the Keys observing nature and the colors of the tropics. Vaughn is an internationally known marine artist and his work is held in many private and corporate collections.
